What is eFPS?
eFPS or Electronic Filing and Payment System is the electronic
processing and transmission of tax return information including
attachments, and taxes due thereon to the government, made over
to the internet through the BIR website.

What is e-Filing?
Electronic filing or e-filing is the process of filing tax return
including attachments, using a computer through the internet.
It uses BIR-supplied validation and computation rules to efficiently
check for completeness and correctness of taxpayer input.

What is e-Payment?
Electronic payment or e-payment is the process of paying taxes
through the internet banking facilities of Authorized Agent Banks
(AAB).

What is an AAB?
An Authorized Agent Bank or AAB refers to any bank certified by
the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) which has satisfied the
criteria on accreditation and is actually accredited to collect
internal revenue taxes.

Is the transaction with eFPS Secure?
Security features are embedded in the system. The transmission
of data on every transaction is encrypted and secured by the SSL
(Secure Sockets Layer), which is the industry-standard protocol
for secure Web-based communications and VERISIGN. Likewise, user
validation or authentication is handled by the system's enrollment
and log on facility which has two levels of security in user name,
password and challenge questions.

How do I know that my/our account/s have been officially enrolled to eTPS facility?
LANDBANK will e-mail you when your account/s has/have been completely
enrolled in the system usually within the day you enrolled or
the following banking day. You will also receive through our official
courier a letter notifying you that your account/s is/are officially
enrolled in the eTPS, and letter containing your system-generated
password.

What shall I do in case I forgot my Password?
You should accomplish another E-tax Payment Enrollment Form and
Submit it to your LANDBANK depository branch.

Can my Password be the same as my User ID?
Yes, but it is advisable to use a different Password because your
User ID may easily be identified with you.

What happens if by technicality, my instructions have not been completed due to power or computer failure?
When you place an instruction, you should be getting an on-line
feedback or e-mail message within the day or the next banking
day. If you fail to receive on-line response to transactions in
which you expect Acknowledgement Receipt, you should call LANDBANK
depository branch and give relevant information related to transactions
(e.g., reference number, transaction number, etc.).
